Two months before "Twisted reality" exhibition was opened Mitte Gallery owners asked to Miguel Herranz and me to gather some Urban Sketchers to organize an exhibition. We told them that they can choose people from Barcelona and from the Urban Sketchers collective so they made list: Miguel Herranz, Santi Sallés, Cristina Curto, Lapin, Sagar, Joaquin Aragón, Alejandro Santos and myself. I decided to show 9 different drawings from my last year. All of them showed different topics and obsessions. I hope you enjoy all of them.

"It was red"
From the project #1mini5personas you can see this wonderful Mini Cooper which I drew with a friend of mine Lapin, a french illustrator. It is the original layout where you can read: "It was red, I think, but my story ends here. It became a dream." When I was 18 years old I got my driving license and my dream was to drive a Mini Cooper. When first I saw this wonderful red Mini my dream came up again to me.
My second book book was a great chance to meet all the Gaudi's work in Barcelona and surroundings. Here you can see "Casa Vicens" one of the first commissions asked to Antoni Gaudí. Its complexity was a challenge to me because I spent more than two hours drawing and colouring, when my normal average time spent drawing in a place is usually one hour. After drawing Gaudí's buildings
Can Vies was a building squatted by young people and they shared activities with neighbors but city council didn't stand anymore this situation so they decided to collapse the building. Unfortunately it provoke a violent situation with fights and a "caterpillar" in flames, the one I sketch on my sketchbook.
"Eriba and Mini 1275-GT"
As I got into the Mini Fan movement I met Jose, thanks to a local collector from my hometown, Òscar. Jose had got a wonderful Eriba caravan the only one which can be drag by a Mini. He also had restored a Mini 1275-GT the one which one the Montecarlo Rally.
"El Mini de l'Òscar"
This is Òscar's Mini the one which introduced me again to the Mini obsession, probably I won't buy an old Mini Cooper but at least I'm going to draw a lot of them in my sketchbooks.
